2026-08-19 — Header search above nav
Summary
The Find search bar sits above the toolbar row so discovery is the first chrome you hit. On / and /find the query field autofocuses. Text Find navigations paint with a short q first, then upgrade to the full query so results can land during the page crossfade.
Highlights
-
Sticky header order is search, then toolbar; contrast-band threads hang from the seam under both rows.
-
Autofocus targets the Find query input on the marketing homepage and
/find(location stays secondary). -
Progressive Find: results-view submits longer than three characters
push/replacewith a truncatedq, thenreplacewith the full string after a short delay; the input keeps the full local draft while the URL catches up. -
Map icon and radius updates keep the existing single-navigation path (no progressive truncation).
